Billing Terms

These Billing Terms apply to orders placed on homebackupsupply.com, a store operated by Brightmark USA LLC, 1317 Avenue J, Brooklyn, NY 11230. They work together with our Terms of Service, Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy.

1. How we sell

We sell new products from the manufacturers and authorized distributors we work with. Many items ship directly from the manufacturer's or distributor's warehouse to you.

2. Authorization and charge

When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the order total. We charge it after we confirm with the manufacturer or distributor that the item is in stock and ready to ship, normally within 1–3 business days. If we cannot confirm stock, we will email you so you can choose to wait or cancel. If you cancel, or we cannot fulfill the order, the authorization is released and nothing is charged. Your bank decides how quickly a released authorization disappears from your statement.

3. Prices and order total

Prices are in US dollars. Your order total at checkout shows the item price, any applicable sales tax, and shipping (free within the contiguous US). If a price or listing error is found before your order ships, we will contact you and you may cancel for a full refund.

4. Sales tax

We collect sales tax where the law requires it, based on the delivery address. The tax charged is shown at checkout and on your order confirmation.

5. Cancellations

You can cancel free of charge until your card has been charged. After your order ships, our Return and Refund Policy applies.

6. Refunds

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, less any restocking fee or return shipping described in our Return and Refund Policy. Banks usually post refunds within 5–10 business days.

7. Payment disputes

If something is wrong with a charge, please email us first at info@homebackupsupply.com with your order number. Most problems are solved faster this way than through a card dispute.
